I can't believe I forgot to show you two of my favorite pictures from my trip. While driving the Skyline Dr in Shenandoah National Park, we came across this mama and baby. Baby was across the street so I had to take the picture through the car window, but mama stood and posed perfectly for me after we stopped the car.
I promise, no more pictures from my trip....well, at least this trip. And if you plan on visiting soon, be careful. My husband has the video waiting for you to watch!!!
Lovely photos! The last deer I saw was hitting the front end of our car Friday night. :( Minor damage, thank goodness. I don't know how the deer fared.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, that is a huge problem in my state as well, especially now during mating season. The deer population is getting out of control....but I still can't help but be amazed when I see these large animals. Glad you are OK.
DeleteAww so cute
ReplyDeleteThey sure were, Lorena. I'm always amazed when I see them by the road.
DeleteEarlier this summer, we had a herd of desert mule deer show up right behind out house. We had a great time watching them for a while before they roamed away back onto the southern AZ desert. Have enjoyed reading about your trip. Lived in western NC for some 25 years.
